Apple new iPhone 4S, iCloud and iPod Updates

The wait is over and here comes the Apple new iPhone 4S-the next incarnation of its smartphone.Released at it’s headquarters keynote event , Apple’s next iPhone made its debut. Initial reviews suggests that the iPhone 4S looks identical to the current [iPhone 4] version, but with improved components, such as camera, processor, and memory.
Since  Apple’s dominance in the smartphone market has been threatened by the rapid gains made by Google’s Android platform,the key-note on new iPhone was under Hawk-eye.View Whole Technical specifications of Apple iPhone 4S below.

Additional Apps and features
Coming to it’s additional features , a  voice recognition feature called siri [based on the voice-activated app that Apple bought in 2010], control iPhone and get information with your sound/voice,for example listen to text messages and reply back with your voice, you can check the weather, ask for a contact’s address, set up a reminder, get directions as well. Also iPhone 4S will, like the iPad 2, offer AirPlay mirroring, which lets everything on your screen get streamed wireless to the Apple TV. Don’t have an Apple TV? You can use a HDMI cable to mirror over the wire, too.
Cards app
Apple is including an oddball Cards app with iOS 5, enabling users to create custom greeting cards from their iOS devices. For $3, Apple will print one, slap Apple-themed postage on it, mail it to any address in the United States, and send the user a push notification when the card is delivered. Cards delivered to international destinations cost $5 each.
iCloud Updates and Release dates
Apple also took the time to provide an update to its iCloud service,  also unveiled its Find My Friends service, which allows you to track the location of your family and friends. The service, which sounds similar to Google’s Latitude service, also allows you to share your location for a limited time.

The iPhone 4S will be available for preorder on October 7; it goes on sale October 14 from AT&T, Verizon, and Sprint in the U.S.It will be available in 22 more countries by the end of October , Internationally around December.iOS 5 also will be available October 12th, iCloud launches the same day

iPod Line Updates [iPod Nano and iPod Touch]
Apple also announced two updates to its iPod line, including a nano with swipe features and a revamped iPod touch.The new iPod Touch will also include iOS 5 and support for iCloud out of the box; third and fourth-generation models will receive a free update. Apple’s iMessage “brings the functionality of iPhone messaging to your iPod touch, so you can easily send text messages, photos, videos and contact information to an individual or group on other iOS 5 devices.

The new iPod touch is available now in black and white. The 8GB will sell for $199, the 32GB will retail for $299, and you can buy the 64GB for $399 [available on October 12]
The new nano includes a redesigned interface with larger icons and multi-touch capabilities.New features include an improved personal trainer app with built-in movement tracking, clock faces for users who want to wear the Nano as a wristwatch, and larger icons.

The 8GB nano will be $129, while the 16GB will retail for $149. Both are available in seven colors, including silver, graphite, blue, green, orange, pink, and (PRODUCT) RED.
